MAC / OUI vendor lookup
Paste a MAC address to see which manufacturer registered it. Modern phones, tablets and laptops randomize their MAC per network for privacy — when that happens we tell you exactly why, instead of a blank “unknown”.
How it works
The first three octets of a MAC (the OUI) are assigned to a manufacturer by the IEEE. We resolve them against the full public registry. If the address has the locally-administered bit set, it was generated by the device itself — there's no manufacturer to look up.
Every result cites its source. Data compiled from the IEEE OUI registry.
