Username

Password
— no default —

You create this password the first time you set up the router. If you never changed it, factory-reset and set a new one.

Modern Archer firmware forces you to create an admin password on first login — there is no admin/admin default. The default Wi-Fi network name and password are printed on the label on the bottom of the router.

Factory reset

With the router powered on, use a pin to press and hold the recessed Reset button on the back for about 10 seconds until the LEDs blink, then release. The router reboots to factory defaults. Reconnect to the default Wi-Fi (SSID and password on the bottom label), open http://tplinkwifi.net or 192.168.0.1, and create a new admin password when prompted.
