For regaining access to a router you own or administer. If you didn't set it up, ask whoever did.

Factory reset
At the console/serial menu choose option 4 'Reset to factory defaults', or use Diagnostics > Factory Defaults in the pfSense GUI; LAN reverts to 192.168.1.1. Browse there and log in with admin/pfsense.
