- Gateway IP
- 192.168.0.1
- Username
- — none —
- Password
- — no default —
You create this password the first time you set up the router. If you never changed it, factory-reset and set a new one.
Modern Archer firmware forces you to create an admin password on first login — there is no admin/admin default. The default Wi-Fi network name and password are printed on the label on the bottom of the router.
Factory reset
With the router powered on, use a pin to press and hold the recessed Reset button for about 10 seconds until the LEDs change, then release. The router reboots to factory defaults. Reconnect to the default Wi-Fi (SSID and password on the bottom label), open http://tplinkwifi.net or 192.168.0.1, and create a new admin password when prompted.
