TP-Link Archer C1200 (AC1200)

Default access and factory-reset steps, cited to the manufacturer.

For regaining access to a router you own or administer. If you didn't set it up, ask whoever did.
Login address
http://tplinkwifi.net
Gateway IP
192.168.0.1
Username
— none —
Password
— no default —

You create this password the first time you set up the router. If you never changed it, factory-reset and set a new one.

This is an older model: the earliest firmware used admin / admin, but current firmware requires you to create your own admin password on first login. If admin/admin does not work, the router has already prompted for (and you set) a custom password. The default Wi-Fi details are on the bottom label.

Factory reset

With the router powered on, use a pin to press and hold the recessed Reset button on the back for about 10 seconds until the LEDs blink, then release. The router reboots to factory defaults. Reconnect to the default Wi-Fi (SSID and password on the bottom label), open http://tplinkwifi.net or 192.168.0.1, and log in or create the admin password.
