Password
— no default —

You create this password the first time you set up the router. If you never changed it, factory-reset and set a new one.

Per TP-Link's official login guide, newer TP-Link models (including current Archer C5 firmware) require you to create a custom admin password on first login; only older units used admin / admin. When ACT Fibernet supplies an Archer C5 it may be pre-provisioned with an ISP-set password (commonly on the install slip), so admin/admin should not be assumed.

Factory reset

Connect to the router by Wi-Fi (default network name/password are on the router label) or LAN, then open http://tplinkwifi.net or http://192.168.0.1 in a browser. On current firmware you are prompted to create your own admin password on first login — there is no admin/admin. If you forget it, press and hold the recessed RESET button for about 10 seconds until the router reboots, then reopen tplinkwifi.net and create a new password.
