The password is unique to your unit and printed on a sticker on the router (often labelled Password or Access Key).

CenturyLink prints a unique Admin Username and Admin Password on each C4000's sticker — there is no universal default. If the sticker is lost the preset credentials can't be recovered, only reset back to those on the label.

Factory reset

Open a browser to http://192.168.0.1 to reach the modem GUI. Sign in with the Admin Username and Admin Password printed on the sticker on the side/back/bottom of the C4000. These are unique per modem and cannot be retrieved if lost. To factory reset, press and hold the recessed Reset button ~10-15 seconds until the modem reboots, then sign in with the sticker's default Admin credentials.
