For regaining access to a router you own or administer. If you didn't set it up, ask whoever did.

4-port Gigabit Ethernet router plus one SFP port, EdgeOS on a 1 GHz dual-core CPU with hardware offload, no Wi-Fi. Genuine static ubnt/ubnt out of the box; eth0 is preset to a static 192.168.1.1.
Factory reset
With the router running, press and hold the recessed Reset button until the interface LEDs flash and the unit reboots to defaults. Connect to eth0, browse to https://192.168.1.1, enter ubnt/ubnt, and accept the licence agreement.
