Netgear R6120 (AC1200)

For regaining access to a router you own or administer. If you didn't set it up, ask whoever did.

This older AC1200 model ships with Netgear's universal default: user name admin, password password. Change it immediately after logging in, since it is publicly documented.
Factory reset
Log in at http://routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 with user name admin and password password (both case-sensitive). If those don't work, power the router on, use a paperclip to press and hold the Restore Factory Settings button on the back for about 7 seconds until the Power LED blinks, then log in with admin/password after it reboots.
