Netgear R6260 (AC1600)

For regaining access to a router you own or administer. If you didn't set it up, ask whoever did.

The R6260 uses Netgear's documented default of admin / password. It's a universal default, not unique to your unit, so replace it right after first login.
Factory reset
Browse to http://routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 and sign in with user name admin and password password (case-sensitive). To factory reset, power the router on, hold the recessed Restore Factory Settings button on the back for about 7 seconds until the Power LED blinks, then log back in with admin/password.
