The documented factory default for this older gigabit N600 is admin / password. NETGEAR's official KB is the source; newer NETGEAR firmware forces a password at setup, but this model shipped with the static default.
Factory reset
Browse to http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 and log in with admin / password. Factory reset: press and hold the Restore Factory Settings button on the back for about 7 seconds until the power LED flashes, then release; defaults revert to admin / password.
